Renovating the city centre market hall

we want to preserve and enhance it for a further 100 years.

 

Existing welsh roof slates are redressed and relaid,

with the inaccessible lanterns enfolded in crisp weatherproof grey zinc sheet.

 

New glazing and rooflights brighten the shopping floors below.

 

Drainage, access, safety and maintenance are all improved

with broad, tough, concealed, cantilevering gutters

surrounding the pyramid roof.

 

Stonework repairs and repointing restore the external masonry,

with roof vents, fire systems and a redecoration refreshing the

landmark buildings interior.
